Beautiful Cottage with Senic Rural Views

The Ataahua Cottage was a fantastic experience after staying in hotels and motels. The location was on a rural road and our hosts lived nearby in their home. The cottage was fully self-contained which was very thoughtful. A variety of drinks along with an unexpected package of marshmallow biscuits (which I haven't had for years). The weather was mild so we didn't have to use their heater. There was a glorious sunset overlooking the fields and hills - this was particularly picturesque.

perfect private couryard

If you are looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway, Ataahua is a great choice. This B&B is very private with it's own courtyard where the delicious breakfasts are served. Friendly and helpful hosts even provided a "welcome to NZ" cheesecake on arrival. I highly recommend this one.
