Comfortable and relaxing

I've been once before, but decided again to stay after a trip away with the family. We stayed in the Pavilion and had such a restful time. It was a great time at the cafe too, coffee was good too (which is good because I'm pretty picky with that).

Staying at Tui's Flight Cabin

We had a lovely comfortable night in the cabin including a hot tub in the gentle rain. A ruru swooped over us! Very much recommend this place - friendly hosts, good cafe, clean facilities. Thanks alot!

Just brilliant!

Peaceful, tranquil. Authentic Kiwi rural location. Sleep to the sound of the river running just meters away and on our particular night the Stags roaring! The staff are welcoming and lots of fun. Thank you Paula and Trisha for your good humour and attention. We really enjoyed our time at the bar and the great gin selection. The beef burger was to die for! Thank you Chef! We will be returning to enjoy kayaking or rafting in the most spectacular scenery of the Rangatiki limestone cliffs. It would be easy to spend a few days here so dont hesitate. This place is well set up for caravans, motor homes, tents and cabins. Powered and non powered sites. And the facilities are spotless! Book ahead for public holidays if you want a powered site. This little secret spot is getting popular and deservedly so. Its a perfect location between Wellington and the north for a stop over as well Cant wait to go back in the spring! …

Amazing!

We stayed on a powered site (Awastone side) for the weekend and it was bliss. The owners were so accommodating and frjendly, and Cody our rafting guide was great. Was so good that we've booked another weekend there in March. Highly recommend this place- beautiful scenery, amazing food in the Cafe and an overall amazing place to spend a holiday. We look forward to our next stay!
