A delicious meal in a good family restaurant
My husband and I had a beautiful meal. I had the fillet steak cooked to perfection and my husband enjoyed the snapper. The side dish of vegetables was generous. There is a salad bar included with your main course order if you wish. The staff were friendly and attentive,

Beyond expectation - Wonderful service - Great family dining
We arrived in town and were hungry - Beachcomber caught our eye and we decided to enter. Staff here cannot be faulted - they provided a welcome beyond expectation and that didn't end. Salad bar was a surprise...plenty of great salad options. Vege lasagne appeared to be one of the few 'hot vegetarian' options so I ordered that and was delighted. Beef burger meal also was reported as being good. Snickers Cheesecake was amazing and the best thing was I didn't have to yell across the table or try to talk above the music. Will totally recommend to anyone passing through Kaitaia. Being from Auckland you can almost forget experiences like this - spacious dining, enthusiastic staff and being surrounded by families with children who can deal with social dining without a mobile device to stare at. Great kiwi family dining option - even great for couples - Recommended.

Delicious steak dinner
Arriving on Kaitaia we did not expect to find such a pleasant restaurant. The staff where friendly and efficient and the food was excellent.

Go with empty bellies
Can highly recommend this place. I had the crumbbed brie for a starter and the sauce was amazing. My wife had a shrimp cocktail which she said was double thumbs up. Mains for me was pan fried fish????????????????????. My wife had the chicken which was well cook, still moist. Also there is the best salad bar i have seen. So much to chose from. SO no room for dessert. My brother can highly recommend the paua pie. Staff are very friendly and helpful????????????????????????????????.
