A great package
Claire has a really great setup and takes excellent care of her guests (very accommodating with allergies too). Lovely food and great advice on the walks. Even saw a pod of dolphins to end a perfect first day.

Fabulous Whangarei Heads
Wonderful weekend. Walks were varied (day 2 quite punchy) and views spectacular. Claire’s cooking is delicious, hosting seamless and the lodge very well appointed (had everything we needed and more). Would highly recommend.

Who needs to go to Hawaii?
This was such a great way to see a dramatic corner of northland. Claire provides great accommodation, great advice, great meals, and transport to and from the walks - one of the logistical difficulties for independent walkers. The scenery, walks and weather were stunning. I would like to return and do more walks! Do it!

Gem of a walking destination
Claire at Bream Head Coast Walks provided our group (of 12) with a magnificent experience, not only because of the lovely accomodation...or the fantastic food she fed us....or the prompt and efficient drop-offs and collection service she provided for each walk....but her attention to detail for all aspects of making our 3 walking days a fanastice experience was superb.
Claire was professional in all her dealings with us, and as a result we felt very very well looked after!
Thanks again!

Fantastic food, great walks
The 3 day Bream Head Coast walks was a great experience. The arrangements were clear, Claire was an excellent host and the food was outstanding. She said don’t bring extra food and you didn’t need to.
The walks could be adjusted to the fitness of the individuals. Day 1 was a nice walk to and along ocean beach - doing the full length meant around 16-18km.
Day 2 was the Te Whara Coastal trail - we were advised that it was hard and it was challenging - lots of uphill, up and down then an hour down steps. Great views followed by a swim at the beautiful Smugglers Bay.
Day 3 was up Mt Mania - an hour up but a bit easier - 360m elevation. There were views over Marsden Point and the harbour.
Highly recommended.
