Currently Broekhaven is closed and we are only offering accommodation in our beautiful Lakehaven Apartment. Awake to birdsong in this peaceful and tranquil self catering apartment only 160m from the lake, set beneath the owners main house. You will feel welcome as soon as you arrive with only a short walk to Lake Rotorua, trout fishing at Hamurana Springs, or a game of golf at Hamurana Golf Course. Conveniently situated to many of Rotorua's major tourist attractions including Agrodome, Zorb, Skyline Skyrides & Hells Gate. Amenities in this fully self contained apartment include a kitchenette with microwave, double stove top element, electric frypan as well as all utensils, flat screen TV, fridge, linen, towels, bathrobes, slippers, free wireless internet, full bathroom with all linen and toiletries supplied and BBQ. We have dogs and cats as well as assorted friendly farm animals, so you are welcome to hand feed sheep, alpacas and our resident goose.Loading ...

Wonderful Farm Stay close to the Lake.
We have stayed here a few times now and recently joined TripAdvisor. Having used TripAdvisor for recommendations I though we should post one. Broekhaven is a lovely one bedroom chalet with lounge, Kitchen and ensuite plus laundry facility. It is nestled in a farmlet with sheep and goats and rabbits and chickens roaming freely on the property. It's just a short walk from Lake Rotorua and very close to the brilliant Hamurana Springs and a fun 9 hole golf course. The Springs are a must do. Guaranteed privacy and views but the owners are close by if you need assistance or advice. Love this place and a must do.

Wonderful hosts, nice location and great house
Very nice, gracious and helpful couple who have a small, but wonderful house with exquisite garden on their countryside property by Lake Rotorua. The provide their guests with ample breakfast. The mattress on the sleeper sofa is a bit thin, but there is also a folding bed with a thicker mattress. The only downside is the rooster crowing in the early morning, but otherwise the property is very nice and quiet.

Great cottage at a nice quiet location
Beautiful cottage on the north side of Lake Rotorua, a bit outside of town, but not too far. Cottage is very spacious, good bed, lovely breakfast supplied for self serve. Walkable to Hamurana Springs which are amazing to see the huge volume of water coming out of the ground. Sheep outside the door, fresh eggs from the chickens every morning, a great place to stay.
