Epic is awesome

We had an awesome time on the Timber Trail thanks to Epic Cycle Adventures. Paul is incredibly helpful and efficient. He was wonderfully flexible with several rebookings caused by Covid. Camp Epic is a great spot. Very comfortable real beds in our lovely green canvas tent. Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and highly functional. Plenty of hot water and everything you could need to make self catering easy. We had a lovely chat around the fire pit with Paul and 3 "trail angels" - older folk who volunteer to do work on the trail. So inspiring - we should all hope to be so generous, competent and good humoured. Totally recommend.

Epic!!

Perfect set up, we couldn't fault anything if we tried. The team at Camp Epic have thought of everything. Fabulous kitchen with everything you need to make a yummy meal, hot showers, flushing toilets the works! Everything from arriving at the carpark to being shuttled to the start to being greeted back at the end of the trip. Great hosts - Thanks so much we will be back soon :)

Must Do

We biked the Timber Trail mid November 2021 and stayed at Camp Epic. Josh, Paul and Julian have created an amazing experience for bikers. The camp kitchen has everything you need. The tents are cosy, warm and clean. The bathrooms superb and then there is the shower!!! Wow, best view in the world. We were a group of 5 e-biking and even though the second day was very wet (pouring with rain all day) our spirits were not dampened. Glorious scenery even in the rain. Definitely worth doing this ride. Absolutely recommend staying at Camp Epic. You wont be disappointed.

Excellent Place to stay on the Timber Trail

The kitchen, bathrooms and showers were great, neat, tidy and funky. Showers were hot, had great pressure and had a lovely view. I was worried about being cold at night time but need not have bothered. The beds were lovely and warm, hot water bottles were available to avoid the initial chill. It was lovely sitting around the fire pit wrapped up in the polar fleece ponchos roasting marshmallows. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, it was a great experience.
