Small good quality cinema - a treat

This place is great value for money! It’s been a real treat watching a movie here. The atmosphere is really laid back. I’ll be back!

Fantastic local cinema

Great selection of films. Buy a wine or coffee and sit back and enjoy. Sits in a hub of fantastic ethnic restaurants.

One of the best cinemas in Auckland

Capitol and its sister cinema Lido are among the best cinemas in Auckland. Service is second to none. The cinemas are a plush boutique and small facility where comfort and enjoyment are fabulous.

Turn back the clock and have a decent cinema experience

Entry off the main road not letting on what is to come. A nice set of creaking stairs wood lined walls takes one to a delightful loby with old style seating.
Great wine selection and "proper ice cream " great.
The movie theatre is up a few more stairs and into a lovely old theatre. Good spacious seats with decent amount of room for legs and also for the wine glass between the seats.
Very enjoyable experience
Now all you need is a great movie
