Delicious, authentic and great value.

This is one of the best and most authentic restaurants in CHCH! We have been to Sri Lanka and the food here is just as good. The family that run it are absolutely lovely and the food is always great and amazingly well priced. I would always come back here!

Simply the best

Have been there so many times and recommended so many friends. Today some colleagues and I are going again. Best taste and value for money. If I can be honest - its the best 'Indian' in town, although its Sri Lankan.

Tasty, spicy, highly recommended

Popped in for lunch after seeing an online article about the new ‘The Yard’ complex. I ordered a Lamb Kottu Rotti as I saw one being served and it looked superb. I wasn’t disappointed. A beautiful mound of noodles, meat and veges surrounded by a delicious curry sauce. Washed down with a ginger beer. A perfect lunch option.

Teh best vlaue and most delicious curry in Christchurch

Having travelled in Sri Lanka, I was amazed to find a place with really authentic and delicious Sri Lankan food and snacks. The curries are amazing and they also sell the snack food you would find in railway stations. Always takes me back to my trip when I eat here. I cannot recommend it enough. Fantastic!!!

Absolutely brilliant. Wow a wonderful mix of heat and taste. Definitely a hidden gem. Excellent value and very friendly helpful staff. A great find in the city.

I often have lunch here as good vfm

The chicken curry special is amazing and service is always fast and friendly. Heat can be varied to taste. Also has excellent traditional foods. Tucked away in Mollett Lane behind the Ao Tawhiti building.

Very authentic

Having just visited Sri Lanka I can tell you that this is very authentic - actually possibly even better than the real thing! I had the vegetarian curry and rice and my husband had the lamb curry. Both so so tasty. Would definitely recommend!

The Kottu is awesome and a must-try dish

Went for lunch a while back but thought I'd better write a review since it was so good. I'll be back again this week, for sure! This place was recommended to me by Sri Lankans and I can see why. I was told to try the Kottu and it's a great dish; especially at Sri-Lankan "spice" levels. I also enjoyed the fish roll but it IS rather fishy - a good deal imo since it's obvious there is fish in there, not just meal.

PROPER AUTHENTIC!!!

I'm from Sri Lanka and visited Christchurch. This food is proper authentic. It's cheap and cheerful but so amazingly tasty. If you want a taste of Sri Lankan cuisine this is a MUST do!
