Exactly what we wanted
Set back off the street down a commercial entranceway (look for 43 High Street) Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning based on a colleague's recommendation. Coffee & Hot chocolate were both very great. Good menu to choose from and the final selections were delicious, as was the side of the fries that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Friendly & attentive staff. The dining area was light and airy. Would definitely recommend it.

Always been Great
I have come to this cafe for over three years and it has always been great. The food is great, vibe chilled and relaxed and staff polite and nice. I have never had bad food and I dont believe the review that claims that re eggs benedict as it is a favorite. Try it and it will be yours also.

Hidden gem
Unassuming entrance.. Excellent coffee & perfect poached eggs. Polite and attentive service. Can definitely recommend the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. We will be back when next visiting Auckland.

A hidden gem on the High Street
Down a rather unusual entrance you'll find one of Auckland's best kept secrets, and we wanted to keep it that way - but it's so good, I had to share! Don't let the bright lights and pastel hues put you off, once you make it into the serene back garden area, you'll be a loyal follower for life. Staff are the best combo of friendly, professional and efficient, the coffee is great, and the food is outstanding - despite being cooked in a kitchen that resembles the capacity of a cupboard. Unfortunately their famous crumpets weren't available, but we'll be back next time we're in the hood. Locking the loo is a mensa test - that'll pique your interest if the rest hasn't!

Possibly the best breakfast I've ever had
This was our first meal in New Zealand and it was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good coffee and breakfast in an exciting part of town.
