Great location, great coffee

This place is very popular, with good reason. It’s set overlooking the Seaview marina, there are black swans, ducks, fish and the occasional sting ray, but that wouldn’t be enough if the coffee wasn’t consistently good, the service excellent together with very good food. But don’t tell anyone, I don’t want it to get overcrowded. Oh, and for some reason the environment seems to encourage chats with strangers there. Love it.

Glorious location

Just a simple little cafe with (good) coffee and sandwiches, but what a location on a sunny day. Sitting in the sun on its verandah checking out the boats in the marina and the fish (and stingrays!) in the water makes one so grateful to be in covid-free (at least for the moment) New Zealand.

Amazing Gem to find in Seview

This was such a fabulous find, such a peaceful setting. The coffee was superb and food is so inviting and tasty. We stopped in for a coffee and were so surprised by the drink selection and amazing looking, home made food. Couldn't resist the 'Southern cheese rolls', these were the best I've had so I'll definitely be back. Everyone seemed to come for the sausage rolls which I admit looked fantastic. The cafe looks like a container from the front but is has been fitting out with style and fronts onto the marina with a pontoon (with casual seating) as well as an outside deck. The inside seating looked great too but the decks are too inviting on a great day. I think it would be just as fabulous on a rough day to sit inside. I think when the marina is busy with the yachts coming and going it would be so interesting and relaxing that I would find it hard to leave.

COFFEE Shop With a HUGE Difference

They do all sorts of really good coffees here, and other usual drinks too. The Cabinet offers a great choice too, my fav is "Michael's Sausage Rolls" done to his secret recipe......yum. And the sweet food is pretty good too. On a nice sunny day it is very relaxing taking your drinks onto the pontoon right amongst the yauchts and other water craft. Nice. Well worth a visit

Break from yacht maintenance

Having a yacht in the marina, I wondering how this would go. It seems to be going well. Helped of course by very good coffee. Had a lamb and mint pie today and a sausage roll the other day. All very good. The coffee the other day was a 10; picture attached. Today maybe an 8 which is pretty good. Different baristas.

Great cafe with a great view

What a location!! The cafe may be based out of two shipping containers, but the coffee and food is excellent. The absolute beauty is that they have their own floating dock with chairs and beanbags overlooking the marina. So on a sunny day it is mandatory to hang-around that little bit longer, relax, and order a second coffee.

Best little marina cafe in Wellington

Great little spot to come for a coffee and light snacks with a view out over the marina. The owner Michael has gone to great lengths to expand the original cart to a container based cafe complete with a floating pontoon to berth alongside should you arrive by boat. The staff are very friendly and it is a picturesque setting with an outlook over the yachts. A great place to stop for a break if you're heading out towards Eastbourne!
