Night Away
Excellent accommodation very reasonably priced. Comfortable, clean, close to town centre, well equipped including kitchen with full size oven and fridge, small dishwasher, very comfortable beds. Excellent views over the harbour and port. Will certainly stay again.

Last minute desperation turned into finding a real gem!
After a 3 week cruise to Antarctica, I grabbed my gear and jumped off the boat in Lyttleton. What a beautiful little town! I was very fortunate to find Dockside, especially on such short notice, and even moreso to meet it's owner, Kathy. Just a short walk from town, I was able to look out over the harbor and watch my ship loading it's cargo. One feature I enjoyed was the wi-fi connection, which enabled me to pursue other activities while visiting New Zealand. Kathy was very helpful in this regard, offering local knowledge as well as advice about the area. The studio was very well appointed and the bed was wonderful. Very clean throughout and wow, the view!

Wonderful stay, so much nicer than the city
And so close to town! We stayed here for two nights and it was awesome. There's a market on Saturdays too so try and time your visit for this. There was even a friendly black and white cat who adopted us for our stay, I desperately wanted to take her home with us! Excellent communication regarding booking, access and payment. Washing machine and dryer in room were super handy too. I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. Excellent value for money and so many cafés and bars just a 2 minute walk away. Still a lovely walk round the corsair bay road where I went running in the mornings. Bit of damage in the town but don't let this put you off, we'll definitely be back!
