Let Pam take care of you.
We booked in here for four nights and were very pleased we did. Pam runs an excellent bed and breakfast, nothing is too much trouble, she even did two lots of washing for us. Added to which she is a lovely person to chat to. We were greeted with a drink and biscuits. Our room was clean and comfortable and we felt quite at home especially when invited to spend time in the sitting room. FH is conveniently located for access to Christchurch also for around and about e.g. the Banks Peninsula and also for northern and southern access to the area. It is in a very quiet area, we slept well.

Pam was wonderful
We loved staying with Pam for 7 days. She was so pleasant and helped more than she will know. Food was very good each morning . Loved the fresh croissants and homemade jam. Wife loved the rubbard with yogurt also. Always helpful with a smile. Great fresh fruit also. Christchurch has a world class botanical garden that is about a 40 minute walk in Hagley park. Roses were in full bloom. Each was labeled so you know what you’re looking at. Bed was very comfortable . Lots of things to do nearby.

Look no Further
We recently stayed five nights at this perfectly perfect hosted B&B: first floor en suite, fresh croissants with yummy breakfasts, lovely garden and a hostess eager to help you with the mechanics of being in such an interesting city and countryside. On the practical side Pam offered to do our laundry. She also arranged a visit with a garden designer and a visit to a private garden that were highlights of my stay in NZ. We're only sorry NZ is so far away.

A charming and delightful B&B
Second time we have stayed at Fendalton House. The first was 18 years ago (2000). When we started planning for this trip, with our grandson, we immediately checked to see if Pam was available. To our good fortune she was. We immediately, made reservations. When we arrived, it was like being welcomed back to a good friend's home. Pam is an exceptional host who makes you feel at home. The accommodations were very comfortable. Her breakfast was a delightful feast. This is the must stay place in Christchurch! We were pleased that we were able to stay with Pam again and hope that we can do it again.

Perfect B&B
We spent two nights in this delightful B&B at the start of our tour of new Zealand. Pam is a delightful host, our bedroom was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. A perfect place to recover from the long flight. Thanks Pam.
