Love this cafe!

When working in Wellington I always make a B line to this cafe for breakfast! Open early with awesome yummy food!

Sunday breakfast

We were staying in Lower Hutt, and decided to check this place for breakfast. I was not sure what I wanted to eat until a staff member mentioned the chef’s special, it sounded lovely and I decided to have that, I was not disappointed, it was delicious, my husband had the eggs on toast with tomato. We were in level 2 and the seats were well spaced, coffee good, fast service. The chefs special was their sourdough bread with smashed avocado, red onion, hallouimi cheese, and beetroot.

A hidden gem

Making a booking was easy, the staff were friendly, ordering was easy, the food was delicious, the prices were very good for the quality of food and the amount you get. I will definitely be going back for another helping of the seafood chowder!!!

Specialty cake

My daughter turned 16 this month so I ordered her a vanilla butter cream cake without nuts on the outside instead extra buttercream,when I piked the cake up the staff were all so friendly and the cake looked and tasted absolutely amazing!The cake actually tasted even better then I had anticipated,unfortunately unbeknown to the bakers I did encounter a slight problem upon discussing this with the manager she went above and beyond to Satisfy me as did the second manager I dealt with when collecting the second cake,so thank you so much to both managers the bakers and friendly staff who greeted me the cakes both tasted and looked amazing I look forward to the next celebration cake I need baked by Janus bakery :)))

Well worth a visit

Have been here twice now to fill in time before hospital appointments. The service is really friendly and quick. Scones and coffee are great - the coffee was very strong & partner just loved it. On our agenda for any future visits to the hospital.
