Simply Splendid
It had been over 2 years since we last dined at Mr Ds so we were anxious whether the quality of experience would have diminished. These were ill-founded worries as we had a wonderful meal. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. Our starters of ceviche and grilled octopus were well presented and perfectly prepared. Our mains of duck with risotto and the market fish (snapper) were also very nice. A great night overall.

Great dinner with colleagues
We went reasonably early on a Thursday night and so it wasn't very busy. We were well looked after and all of the dishes we had we fantastic. The only minor point was my colleagues had the salted beets for a starter, and found them a bit too salty. A couple of us had the donuts for dessert, and they lived up to the hype. Really enjoyable meal, with good service.

Very classy with great food
Went for our anniversary and every staff member was extremely professional and polite. Felt very looked after with constant service. Food was excellent with great sized portions. Chefs were having lots of fun, smiling and laughing whilst working away and it was great to see and feel the positive work environment. Will definitely be back!

Food to relish
We had a brilliant evening and a sensational meal. I can never go past the Roast duck Risollo, so yum and Mr W had the Paua and Pork meatballs which he was still talking about this morning. Thank you Mr D’s, our swan song before heading to Aucks.

First Time vist to Napier and to Mister D's Bistro
A friend recommended Mster D's - while we visited Napier for the week. Well the service was great lovely smiles and welcome and shown to our table. Service great - good selection off the menu - the food was tasty and just what we needed on a cold morning. Thank you Mister D - your staff serviced us well!
