Variety of Memories, mainly rugby and Olympics.

Great way to get rid of an hour or so on a rainy day in Dunedin. Lots of different displays, could of had a few more on Rugby League, Netball and Motor Sport. Maybe a viewing area with old footage?

Well put together

My husband & teenage daughter decided to go for a look around during our day in Dunedin & came out singing the praises of the NZ Sports Hall of Fame. They said it was an amazing collection of memorabilia & very well put together. They learnt a lot about New Zealand sport & definitely could have spent longer in here. If you’re into your sport it’s well worth a visit.

Second visit just as good

First visit was years ago so went back to spend longer and were not disappointed with the displays.The chap at reception was not very outgoing at all just took our money, no smile.... perhaps he was a volunteer but not great for creating a good first impression.
I do hope they will keep information updated, there were several legends who are now deceased but no year of death added. .Love how there are so many articles donated that athletes have worn or used in creating their records. For a small country we can be so proud of these amazing sports people

This is well worth a visit

My friend and I went there and put an hour in the parking meter and got so absorbed that we ended up getting a parking ticket. A must visit so much to see and learn.
