Two night stay

Stayed at this lovely b&b. The hosts Tricia and Mike were a joy to talk to. We were in the downstairs apartment, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and when we returned in the evening a log fire had been lit, totally amazing???? The breakfasts were delicious, home made muesli, yoghurt, scrummy home made jams and marmalade. We totally recommend this wonderful, wonderful b&b and will definitely stay again.

Great hosts, spacious room

Great hosts and very spacious room with easy access. Ideal for Hauraki rail trail which starts on the next corner! Two single beds with en suite, mini fridge, working desk and coffee table. We had some difficulty with the wifi and cell phone data connection while in the room but this did not really matter to us. Highly recommended.

Snug as a bug

We loved our stay. I stayed for two nights with my two teenage daughters who appreciated the fast and free internet. The beds were super comfortable and our hosts had added electric blankets and heaters to the rooms as it was getting chilly at night. One room had a mini fridge which came in handy for our lunches, the other had a TV which we didn't use as there was so much to do in the area. Breakfast was nothing short of amazing, homemade yoghurt, fruit from the garden, homemade jellies and muesli, toast. Our hosts were kind, caring and shared lots of interesting information about the area. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back.

Made a last minute booking and was very happy

Can’t think of a single bad thing to say about this place. Trisha and Mike are wonderful hosts and as far as the room is concerned we couldn’t have asked for more. Fantastic accommodation and company along with a beautiful breakfast where everything is homemade except the tea and bread. If I’m ever out this way again I’ll be staying here. 10/10
