The Phoenix Motor Inn is situated only 5 minutes from both the airport and Blenheim's town centre . Close to over 50 of Marlborough's famous wineries. Blenheim has an excellent range of restaurants, cafes and bars and is home to the world renown "Classic Fighter Collection".

Best motel in New Zealand

Stayed in probably nearly 100 motels in NZ over the past 40 years. The Phoenix is the best. Wife is fastidious about cleanliness and she couldn't find anything in our unit that wasn't up to her high standards. Clean and decent facilities, reasonably spacious room and competitively priced after a manager's discount on tariff listed on booking sites. Pleasant, helpful owners and cleaning staff. Good location. Now living in Blenheim and for any guests we can't accommodate at home we will be booking them into the Phoenix, even though it is over the other side of town. Distance a disadvantage, but we know they will have no complaint about the accommodation ! No comparison to another motel we stayed at iin an earlier visit to Blenheim. Can't rate this place highly enough.

Superior place

What a wonderful motel, have just stayed there for 5 nights with a group of others. We had 2 of their 2 bed room units, very very tidy, clean and comfortable. We had 6 individuals so we’re able to have room each for 4 people and the others slept in bed in lounge. Bonus with one of the rooms in each unit having an ensuite so bathroom time wasn’t a fight Quick and reliable internet and wifi 5 minute walk to pak’n’save and Kmart in 1 direction and about the same to countdown/sleights ale house in other direction You won’t be disappointed, well worth it and very reasonably priced

A comfortable stopover

A friend and I stayed here on route to Richmond. It was immaculately clean and spacious. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. Despite being based on a main road the unit was very quiet. A short walk to the restaurant provided an evening mea; I would stay here again.
