WelcomePoderi Crisci Vineyard and Winery, set in a stunning amphitheatre surrounded by vines and olive trees, has fast become the quintessence of what in Italy is called: Agroturismo. Located 30 minutes from Matiatia in Awaawaroa Bay, Poderi Crisci occupies 7.7 hectares of north-facing slopes in the heart of Waiheke’s unique wine growing microclimate. The narrow rocky strip underlying Poderi Crisci is believed to be 30 million years older than the rest of the Island, boasting soil criss-crossed with mineralised veins. For four generations the Crisci family has been immersed in food and wine, Antonio born and raised in Napoli came to NZ in early 1990 and established Toto Restaurant in Nelson Street . With his partner Vivienne Farnell they opened Non Solo Pizza, an institution in Parnell in 1997 and Bar Vino in 2009.Loading ...

Exceptional From the time we arrived greeted by a fantastic young man, very knowledgeable about the drinks matching the long lunch! And boy is it a long lunch, allow yourself 3 hours at least and walk around their amazing vegetable gardens. The views are stunning and we played potonk while we waiting for our mains.

Fabulous afternoon
The grounds, the service and the food are all phenomenal. It is situated well off the beaten track, but yet it was still relatively busy on a Monday afternoon. We had the long lunch, which takes several hours to comfortably make your way through with leisurely breaks between courses. Patrons are welcome to explore the phenomenal grounds between courses. If you have an afternoon to spare, this is a fantastic destination with the long lunch a great option.

Beautiful food and amazing service
We had an amazing long lunch here recently for my sisters Hens party. James was so accommodating and made the whole experience perfect. Everyone in our group commented on how beautiful the food and wine was and the service from the staff was flawless. Would love to come again some time, couldn't recommend Poderi Crisci enough :)

THE must do on Waiheke
One of the best lunch experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world. The Sunday long lunch is a must do. Set amongst their beautiful vineyards the food is served over a 3-4 hour period. We went for the matching wines for each course and every single item was divine. Also fantastic customer service and stunning scenery. Highly highly recommend!
