Absolutely Doable
Braced ourselves, not quite as steep as we expected. Need a moderate level of fitness for this 4km return. Make sure you hike the extra bit uo to get great views from the top. Loved walking back down through the pine trees.

Views from the Summit
Great walk with stunning views over Lake Wakatipu. It is 3km from the car park in Belfast Terrace to the summit. Also stop by the Basket of Dreams sculpture on the way. Walk is through a Douglas Fir forest then clear for last 25%.

Mountain views like no other
You will enjoy the New Zealand nature, lots of birds and excellent views from the top, rember to bring water, sunblock and some food.

Hard work, but the views from the top are well worth the effort
My wife and I did the ascent while the kids went shopping. The steepest bit is in Queenstown itself, as you go up from the Town Centre to the start of the trail itself. It is relentlessly uphill the whole way (no flat bits for a bit of a rest), but when you get to the summit the views are spectacular 360 degrees

Great cardio walk with fantastic views
This is a wonderful path right in the middle of the city. Easy to find with google maps, signs and well-marked parking. Yes, it is steep, but we did the whole thing return in an hour with just a few stops along the way to enjoy the view.
You can shorten it by not going to the very top and still enjoy it. Great views for such a short accessible walk. Highly recommend!

Pleasant hill walk with views
Easy access from Queenstown centre, trail a mix of forest and open tussock, loved the wild goats who ignore humans they get quite close, and 360 views over lake and hills
