Beautiful

Another cracking NZ beach with gorgeous, white, soft sand. The peace and beauty is a little disrupted by the occasional motorbike and vehicles roaring around.

A Hidden Beauty - Rarawa Beach

All I can say, this one beautiful beach. With beautiful white sand where the open ocean touches its shorelines. It also has gentle running creek that flows down the edge of the beach where it is safe for children and mums and dads to swim and play in.

Sqeaky white sand

The whitest silica sand in New Zealand! Camp is back from the beach on an estuary, but the short walk beside the stream to the beach is well worth the visit. Only 4km off the main road for day trippers.

Brilliant white sand, warm water and dolphins!

A must to visit! A spectacular white sand beach through a wee bush clearing off a dusty road, warm clear water, great to swim in. Made a sand mermaid sculpture and had dolphins swim past.

Amazing

The sand is like silk. I live on the gold coast at Surfers Paradise and have walked on the beaches at Waikiki this little beach Rarawa is unequalled. Who ever lives near this beach are very lucky and blessed.

Best white sand beach in NZ

Remote, uncrowded, warm water. Beautiful for solo surfing in the morning as the sun beams through the back of the crystal clear waves.
