Awesome place to get good food
If you're not sure what to get for lunch or dinner on a weekend, this place is where you want to be. Everything here is great, but I have to say the Vietnamese shop Hanoi Alley is my absolute favourite, I go there at least once a week now.

this is a must DO for anyone visiting Christchurch. We visited twice as there is so much to see you miss things the first time. Lots of lovely food, the staff were very friendly. So many different foods, it was great

Amazing range, well worth the crowds
So much choice here, and a great atmosphere, if you're even a bit of a foodie then do make sure you visit! It is crowded, but well worth it. Something for everyone here.

Great spot
Excellent spot in Christchurch- our family went here multiple times during our trip. Between us we tried the Vietnamese Bahn mi, burritos, nachos, vegan hot dogs, dumplings, ramen, doughnuts, cookies, coffee and Turkish delight. All delicious. We got a spot to sit each time just by going upstairs and being patient. Plus bathrooms really nice and clean. A great default lunch/dinner option.

Great asset for Christchurch
Only opened 2019, a great asset to the central city. Open 7 days and a huge array of cuisines , baked goods, cheeses etc. We had the Vietnamese food, Nepalese dumplings (made to order) and took home some wonderful baked goods for later.

Mouth-watering. market. Don’t miss it.
Reminded me of some of the best European food halls, particularly Budapest. Don’t miss the butcher selling mulled wine ???? or the Canadian selling eclairs..Or the people selling truffles.
