Nice pool and facilities and friendly staff however something is missing from that ohh spaaaaaa experience.
Arrive ahead of the treatment and use the pool/ hot tub (communism) or sauna (in changing rooms).
Friendly although inexperienced staff from appearance.

Really relaxing with good music and a great therapist
After your massage your taken to a relaxing room with very comfy chair and a great duvet to relax even more and a hot tea

Firstly there is no spa relaxation lounge before treatments ; big disappointment for me .
Steam and sauna in bathrooms
Lap pool and jacuzzi outside with lots of noise
Treatments were ok
Paid $700 which is very pricey considering level of treatments received
Also they do not do extractions for facial
As per my therapist they don’t have tools for it . Very important when booking for facials.

Day Spa luxury in Auckland’s CBD
I am a huge advocate of So Spa, now frequenting for a number of years. If you are after a really good massage my favourite is the travellers massage, where the very in-tune masseuses simply work with what your body needs. Top tips:
1. Take advantage of the free valet carparking when you book a spa over 60mins
2. Give yourself 30mins prior to massage time for a swim, sauna and steam room- perfect to start the relax!
3. Check out the lobby lounge for a cool drink or nibbles post massage....very relaxing g overlooking the water,

Beautiful Spa Experience
I was lucky enough to get a gift voucher for So Spa and booked a Manuka Honey facial.
The Spa was beautifully appointed with the Sofitel touches, service amazing and I left feeling like I was on cloud nine.
If you get the opportunity; go. whilst the facial was a hefty $160 I felt like I got my moneys worth.

dual massage amazing all round!
From the valet parking to the polite customer service by EVERYONE in the hotel and the skills of the masseuse’s and the facilities available afterward....AMAZING! My husband and i would definitely go back again! The hotel is nicely situated and the massage was professional and relaxing.

My first spa experience has set the bar extremely high!
While staying at Sofitel Auckland we gave in to temptation and decided to try a spa for the very first time. So Spa was an amazing experience. My husband opted for an hour-long massage (swedish/deep tissue) while my daughter and I went for the two-hour Waitemata Hydration Journey which included exfoliation, massage and a facial. The entire experience was so relaxing, wonderful and rejuvenating. This may have been my first spa but it certainly won’t be the last!
