Romantic Stay
We stayed at St Leonards Lodge for two nights during our honeymoon. It's a beautiful place and we enjoyed our big stylish room with all the little details throughout the building. The host was very helpful, even loaning us binoculars we'd forgotten for our bird watching. It was a great place to spend time as well as a base of operations for exploring Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula.

Felt like home!
We stayed here for two nights while exploring the Otago Peninsula area. The house is absolutely beautifully refurbished and modern in all the right places (bathrooms were wonderful!). The owners and hosts, Sue and Dean, were so welcoming and informative. Delicious breakfast. Our room in the main house had incredible full views of the water. You do here the train passing by but it added to the charm of the place!

Charming lodge, charming hostess
We visited Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula for 2 days, staying at the St. Leonard's Lodge both nights. We stayed in the main house, which Sue operates as a B & B. The lodge is beautifully decorated with period furnishings, and the room and bathroom were lovely. We had a nice view of the front lawn and the bay. Sue was a gracious and helpful hostess, making reservations for us for both nights in two different, typical NZ restaurants. Breakfast was made at the time you request, and was NZ delicious, with fresh fruit, yogurt, assorted breads, eggs, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, old home, and our conversations with Sue, the owner.

Wonderful place to base for a week stay
We rented the large one bedroom unit with otago harbor views. first class all the way, from full size kitchen appliances, large counter and nicely equipped, made cooking in easy and fun. Bed and bath both superb. close enough to town yet far enough out to avoid the mad rush.
