Great experience
Had breakfast before leaving Hokitika. The 3 egg omelet was beautiful. Eggs bene with salmon was brilliant. Coffees were great.

Definitely in our top five coffees ever. Made with love by Kayla. Eggs bennie with fresh salmon was amazing too. Make sure you eat at this gem of a cafe if you get the chance.

Excellent range of delicious food
A few weeks ago I had lunch at Stella with a group of friends. We liked it so much we went back last week. We tried something from every category: soup, cabinet food, chicken burger, eggs bene etc. Everyone was happy with her choice. We also had wine, good coffee and tea. The desserts in the cabinet were hard to choose from but all delicious. Highlights were Florentines and almond croissants. The service was as good as the food.

Best coffee on the West Coast!
Excellent coffee, delicious food and a great vibe. The Cheese Room inside the cafe adds to the atmosphere. Stella is a “ must visit” when staying in Hokitika.
