Fabulous flavors made with care
Tandoori Bite makes really special dishes with fresh ingredients and tons of rich flavor. They quickly earned our repeat business with their wonderful food and service. The young woman working was so friendly and always made us feel welcome! I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Vindaloo, and Jalfarezi. Thank you for making our time in Whanganui delicious!

Great meal!
Decided to eat here without any knowledge of what the place was like! Had come down from Auckland to visit the area. It was a Monday evening, so very quiet, but we had great service and lovely food! The only downside was that there was a gaming room attached with fruit machines - we didn’t go in. We were made to feel very welcome and would recommend. I have since read the other reviews and can only surmise that they have new management or are new owners as we had a very enjoyable evening.

Never Disappointed :-)
We have had both takeaways and dine in experiences with this place. Lovely food, great range, nice atmosphere and the staff are exceptional. They always make us feel welcome and are just delightful. There are other Indian restaurants in the area but we have never looked elsewhere. Would definitely recommend.

might have replaced our favourite Indian
Have been here three times now and have not been disappointed. Our first visit was because our daughter wanted idian for her birthday and our regular Indian restauant happened to be shut. Now we have been back twice and may end up changing our allegiance. The service is quick with the usual range of indian dishes on offer. What is the difference between our regular and Tandoori bite? Well for me it is the flavour. They seem to be able to draw the flavour out even in the hottest of curries (my preference). Our kids are happy with the butter chicken and sold on their onion bhaji.

Special Sunday Night Prices and Excellent Meal and Service.
It was a quiet Sunday Night in Wanganui, we walked the streets to see what was on offer, and decided on Tandoori Bite. We were greeted by two lovely friendly young Ladies and shown to our Table. The decor and tables etc are all clean and Tidy. The menu is extensive and the prices seemed reasonable, we were surprised also how reasonably priced their Wines and other Drinks were. My wife and I enjoy Indian Cuisene , we shared a mixed platter as an entree which came out on a sizzling platter and was delicious. The mains to were excellent and we had no space for Desert.By the time we had finished the Restaurant was fairly full with Diner's. When I went to settle the account I was pleasantly surprised as some prices had been reduced due to the Sunday night Special , very impressed.
