Great Place to Stay

Quiet and relaxing home near the city center. The rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated and so is the rest of the house as well. The host is such an amazing and friendly person and very welcoming! He's also very knowledgeable about activities and places to visit in New Zealand so make sure to ask him for tips. Will definitely recommend this place!

Familiarity breeds content. I just keep coming back for more

I am gay, I am comfortable with other gays. Te Manapouri is my home away from home when I am in The Manawatu. Classic home, in a quality street, exotic decorations, the complimentary breakfast is superb, the amenities of the highest quality. Oh, and did I mention that 'mine host' is damned good too. Truly a man of many talents.

Warm and friendly host.

Room was excellent and very comfortable, great breakfast on offer to get your day off to a good start. Thank you Rudyard for your hospitality and friendship, the tree lined avenue was just beautiful and in a nice quiet area, but not far from the centre of town.

Stylish and Welcoming

located in one of PNths best streets tree lines quiet and central. Host Rudy is well traveled and knows what guests need and like. The house is interesting with many collections artfully displayed. I had a comfortable warm bed and tucked up on a winters night with a DVD Movie from Rudys extensive collection. an early start meant I passed on the breakfast.
