Welcome to Te Pohutukawa Lakeside Boutique Accommodation. We specialise in Lakeside or waterfront self contained accomodation. We are located a short 20min drive from Rotorua city on Lake Rotoiti. Rotorua is well known for its Geothermal & Maori cultural tourism. We have a range of properties that can cater for couples up to large families. All of our properties are either Lakefront or your own direct access to the water's edge. Our properties range in price to cater for those on a lower budget to those who like a little more luxury. Great place, great people, great stay. I love that you have the house to yourself, perfect for traveling with a small family. Close to Rotorua for the attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet.

The most relaxing and beautiful place to stay
We have stayed at the Love shack twice now and would definitely go back again. We love the peace and beauty of the place and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.We would recommend this wonderful place to everyone.

Best place to stay in the Rotorua area
This place was secluded but OMG it was amazing. It wasn't a big hotel, not even a small hotel. it was a small cabin right next to a lake called the "Loveshack". On arrival we were met by the owners as it was located in their back garden. We walked down a walkway with our suitcases and entered. It had everything including a BBQ. It was just so peaceful and serene. After our BBQ dinner we decided to start a fire in the pit. It took a while but it was good fun and whilst keeping it burning we even saw shooting stars. There isn't anything bad I could say about this place and looking through the comments book it didn't look like anyone else could either. It isn't in Rotorua itself but a 20 min car journey but it is very easy to find/
