Very relaxing...

What a lovely venue, small, bright and relaxing. Well worth a visit, not busy and a number of beautiful flowers and artefacts.

Great wines and an excellent view!

went there as a recommendation from another winery.

they make some excellent wines! Mostly in the Bordeaux style. The owner was there pouring the wines and we had a great conversation about the wine, his winemaking philosophy and his collection of old bottles!

The view is beautiful. The restraint was packed, so we did not stay to eat.

We ended up buying about a case to ship home. I would definitely recommend this winery.

A Passion for Wine

Our third vineyard for the day consisted of another beautiful setting and view. The key difference here was that we were treated to a passionate discussion why New Zealand wine is world class. The owner told us about their unique wine-making process, their true respect for the grape, and why this results into award winning vintages. Every wine was superb and it was so refreshing to see someone that loved to share their excitement over their craft with everyone. It was a great way to end the day at the vineyards on Waiheke Island.

One of the best

The last winery on our Waiheke Island tour and it was well worth the wait. The owner is a fun guy, his wines are superb. Highly recommended

Amazing views

This stop on the Vineyard Hopper tour was not as relaxed and welcoming as others. The views were amazing and it would have been very pleasant had we wanted a meal. We simply wanted "blotting paper" to go with our drink and there was nothing suitable offered to us.

Great food, even better view.

Beautiful setting on top of a cliff with panaoramic views back out to the city.
We enjoyed a set menu of mushroom and barley soup, smoke fish croquet for entree and Tarakihi and Pork Belly for mains.
Service was prompt and non intrusive. Meals well cooked. Good Ambiance.

Our only negative comment was when we went to pay, using an entertainment card we were told that meal was heavily discounted and we weren’t allowed to use it but on this occasion he would discount us anyway. The rules of use for the entertainment card clearly stated that it was valid for set menus. It was awkward and we were left a little embarrassed.
Other than that, we would definitely go back again for the food and view.
