The accommodation we provide is of very high quality with excellent friendly service. The main villa has full central heating and free WiFi is available in all areas. We are ideally located for many tourist attractions and day trips such as Hobbiton, Rotorua and Taupo, Waitomo caves, Coromandel and Tauranga and Mount Monganui. Outstanding again!
This was our second visit to Villa Shakespeare. The thing that really stands out for us each time we visit is the attention to detail and the little things that make a difference. We love the garden cottage which is where we choose to stay. It is private yet we know our hosts are available should we need them. This trip we left our togs out to dry and when we got back from the lake it had been raining, so our brilliant hosts had popped our togs in the drier and folded them in our room when we returned. We also appreciated the fact they catered for those with food allergies at breakfast without being asked. Twice now they have gone the extra mile and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.

Wow just wow. Just like home
I arrived very late and I went to the main house. April had stuck a message to her front door to tell me that my room was unlocked. I was shocked at what I encountered - not in a bad way but in a good way. I had booked ‘Much Ado’ and it was amazing. It was well decorated; everything looked fresh and it was homely! I originally booked one night but then I immediately booked a second online. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher! Have a look at my pictures because the standard of this room was brilliant. Just make sure when you speak to April, don’t allow her boy to slam the door shut on her because he was locked in and I had to break in to open the house as April was pregnant.

Superb!
A beautiful colonial house has been beautifully restored and extended to provide luxurious rooms and suites close to this pretty NI town. Our hosts were completely delightful and went out of their way to make our short stay completely wonderful. The accommodation is supremely comfortable, spotlessly maintained and quietly tucked away from a fairly busy road at the front of the section. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely accommodation and warmly, friendly hosts to other travellers heading to or through the neat town of Cambridge, New Zealand.

Relaxing and elegant with dollops of imagination!
Beautiful accommodation set in large green lawned gardens. The hosts went out of their way to make us welcome and the rooms are Shakespeare themed and exquisite. It was quiet at night and offered something other than even your above average motel room experience. Attention to detail with black out curtains and charming bone china crockery. Children enjoyed frisbee on the lawn until it landed on the roof and we enjoyed relaxing breakfasts on the veranda. Highly recommended.
