Volcanoview Restaurant established 26 January 2011. Friendly priced family restaurant with table service. No need to order at the bar, we come to you. Our food is healthy. Most of the dishes are gluten free, we grow our own lettuce, vegetables, capsicums, bake our own cakes, buns, bread, make our own beef/fish/veggie burger patties and all our sauces. So we know that what we serve is good healthy food. Further we cater for weddings, parties, work do’s, functions, funerals, you name it. Average cost for a dinner buffet is $ 37,50 per head. Everyone can use the free pedal carts.Three flying foxes are all located on a private property. If you stick to the rules, nothing is likely to happen. Apart from the restaurant we offer camp ground, cabin and B&B facilities. All reasonable priced and the awesome views of Mt Taranaki are totally free of charge. Hope to see you soon.Loading ...

Awesome place to go
This place was just a treat, so happy we stopped on the way back from Taranaki. Google said it was closed at 3 pm but I arrived at 3:30 and they were open, and kids were so happy, flying fox, cows, some toys inside and outside, and for our luck she bring a couple chooks, only 2 days old and also had a german shepherd puppy before we left... ohh and the food?? Awesome too, chips were crispy, and we tried some dutch food that I can’t remember the name but highly recommend then, and the kids pancake with ice cream, they just loved it...

Unexpected treasure
A must to stop at on the way to or from the North Egmont visitor center or just a short drive from New Plymouth. It was raining on our visit so didnt get to see the spectacular view of the mountain but it was a cosy and welcoming spot on a winters day. The hospitality was faultless and the food delicious. Highly recommend the Dutch pancakes. Reasonably priced too. Well worth a visit.

Made our day!
We were recommended to visit after recently moving to NP. What a fabulous place. The food was delicious with generous portions. Our children (and adults!) throughly enjoyed the pedal cars and flying fox. Super handy to visit after walking on Mt Taranaki so we'll be back.

spacious, friendly, great food, family friendly, great service. Overall very pleasant experience. The menu has variety including specialist dishes and stnadrd fare. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. There is also a variety of wines and beers available.

Great little spot with fabulous views
Awesome little spot. Great customer service! The portion sizes were fantastic. The kids were happy with the ample amounts of toys- inc some awesome toy cars. Overall great value for money and would definitely go again!
