Awesome stay

Travelling in the motor home I decided to check out this place. What a little gem. For campers you get unlimited access to the pools between 06:00-20:00 when they start to drain the pools.
Pools are filled fresh every night and the public aren’t allowed in until 10:00. Perfect! Clean water & limited people.
The pools are different temps, between 37-42 degrees Celsius so you can choose which works best for you.
The cafe has GOOD Italian coffee & a range of food from snacks to full on meals.
Highly recommend a few nights here to soak & relax.

Best thermal springs we visited

A magical place...we actually visited Dec 2019 and were fortunate that it wasn’t too busy. We had each pool to ourselves as we moved around and the surrounding scenery is stunning. Very cheap too, about NZ$20 I think.

A truly heavenly experience

If you have a car, these pools are definitely worth a visit. For only (NZ) $20 you can luxuriate in hot pools of various temperatures and in the coolest one it is also possible to do a gentle swim. My favourite was the garden pool which had the most stunning views of the surrounding hills. I really did feel like I had been transported to heaven - this is a fantastic way to spend a cold winter’s afternoon. If I lived here, I would visit it every week.

Self contained must stay

The best, affordable thermal pools in Rotorua. Nothing too flash but with a several different pool options, it adds comfort even when it is busy.

If you are in a self contained vehicle, it is a must-stay in Rotorua - only costing $28.00 to stay overnight with pool access too. The amenities are clean and well maintained too.

Lovely destination

Great pools and well worth a few minutes off the main road. Second visit and better this time as not so busy. However it certainly hasn’t changed much in the years since our last visit.
