Awesome pies!
Stopped here to get my daughter and I a pie for lunch after seeing sign for $3 pies. We were not disappointed. These pies are amazing (said miss 8 of her mince pie) and delicious (I thought of my chicken and broccoli pie). Homemade pastry and good quality fillings.

Homestead has everything on offer! they sell tickets for the local attractions, have accommodation and a top notch café and bar! the pies are top notch as they are both homemade and have lots of flavours! The accommodation is great especially for its price it has a communal kitchen and two common rooms with well upkept amenities. There's even accessible options on request. An awesome place to base yourself in the Waitomo or even Waikato area for holidays and weekends

Great facilities
The base for a three day cycling trip around the greater Waitomo area. Four of us in a cabin, showers, toilets all new new. Very good kitchen, lounge etc. A great place for the base.

Excellent service
We stopped here today after our visit to Waitomo Caves, just before closing time. The staff were amazing! They welcomed us in, allowed us to sit and eat our food, finish our hot drinks, without it feeling uncomfortable or an inconvenience as they were finishing for the day. They also filled and heated up my niece's bottle (aged 20 months) with milk, at no charge, for her trip home. The homemade pies were a hit with my nephew, and I took a couple home for my husband who also loved them. We will definitely be stopping in here again. Thank you Waitomo Homestead for your generous hospitality.

Highly recommend!
Very impressed. Customer services was excellent. Best homemade mince and cheese pies we have ever had. Hazelnut latte was spot on. They went out of their way to accommodate us as we popped in just before closing and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely pop back in anytime I pass through the area. Thank you Waitomo homestead much appreciated.
