Fish Chowder

This is the best fish chowder I have had at a cafe or restaurant - thick and creamy filled with scallops. Served with crunchy ciabatta bread.

Great spot

Had brunch here with the kids. They played in the park and we all enjoyed our food. Coffee was very good! I had the pork belly eggs bene and enjoyed it so much.

Best Vegetable Stack ever!

The vegetable stack was nothing short of amazing! The kids were all happy with their meals, husband said the burger was 9/10, father in law said the chowder was 10/10. Staff were friendly and approachable.

Great food and service in the middle of the historic town

The service here made our lunch time visit special. The menu offers plenty of selection topped up by the specials board. The food and drinks were great, indie and outdoor seating available. Open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

Outstanding, again.

Came in Saturday 17/4. Everytime we come here the food, service, and coffee are top notch. I have given other cafes in town a try, but nothing comes close to meeting Weta's standard. Everyone working there seems to be genuinely happy to be there, and that made our experience much better. A must-do when visiting Coromandel.

Excellent Lunch

We were told this was the best cafe in Coromandel & it definitely is. We were a group of 4 & went for lunch. The service was great & they were promptly at our table with water & helping with the menu. The men had burgers & they were blown away how great they were. The cafe has a great vibe, awesome coffee & amazing food. We will return!

Wouldn't go any where else now that we have found Weta

This place is amazing, especially if you fancy a meal-size Seafood platter that the staff will make for you in no time at all. Customers can even utilize the grassed area next to the cafe if desired. It has everything one would want when visiting a cafe, especially after the fair bit of travel involved in order to get to the town .Staff obviously enjoy their work which rubs off on the customers.Congratulations Weta Cafe and staff.We will definitely be back Sheryl Dawn
