Best fish 'n chips

Ssshhhh!!! I've been here many times, and usually phone ahead, but I love the fish 'n chips that are still wrapped up in newspaper. My preference is snapper fish that not all takeaways serve these days. The potato chips are soft on the inside. Celiacs can also be catered for when they can't eat fish batter. There are many other takeaway foods that can be ordered, as well as a variety of Chinese Takeaway foods. Waihi Beach is a popular summer spot, but takeaways are usually available all year round.

Hot chips

10/10 for our serve of hot chips. Scoop size was a bit smaller than we normally get but it had a photo of the scoop size so we knew to get another scoop.

a spur of the moment experience .fish lovely ..chips nice and soft NOT overdone.I'd go back anytime

if you get lost at night, ask at the Waihi Beach garage . they are extremely helpful. showed 2 strangers where to go and get the best food at that time of night [was very dark]
