About us

Accommodation lodge providing quality Bed and Breakfast located on 21 acre estate just 3 minutes drive from Hokitika town centre. Park like gardens with privacy, native trees and much bird life. Ensuite and private bathrooms, seperate guest lounge/dinning & bar. hearty cooked breakfast. Venue for Weddings/functions also heli tours, fishing & hunting trips provided. Many local attractions to see.

Immaculate, with excellent breakfasts

We (a couple) stayed three nights in the Mahinapua room, which gave us private access to a well-heated bathroom and a separate toilet, close to the comfortable sitting room. Everything was immaculate, the bed-sheets were superb, the hosts were pleasant, and the breakfasts were excellent.

Comfortable and cosy with excellent hosts

Fraser and Anne welcomed us into their home and provided excellent service and accommodation. We were only there one night but had a good comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast included in the price.

Definitely recommended

Our stay was only one night, too short! Lovely comfortable room and bed, great shower, excellent breakfast served by great hosts Fraser and Anne. There's a large guest lounge with a fire, nice garden, newly renovated property so everything is fresh and clean. We would recommend Woodland Glen Lodge, would like to return.

Beautiful Setting and Fantastic Hosts

We had a lovely stay at Woodland Glen - not only clean, comfortable and lovely accomodation facilities but in a beautiful setting. The hosts Anne and Fraser where extremely accomodating, friendly and with a great sense of humour. The breakfast had several options not only for food but even juices-and it was yummy Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others

Little gem in Hoki

Great place to stay, just out of town. Fraser and Anne, our hosts, were extremely hospitable and the breakfast was fantastic..We stayed in our own little 'wing',which is perfect for families. This BnB has lovely charm and I would highly recommend staying here. We'll be back to stay again for sure!
